Premium Rate Change for Disability Insurance

The Board of Directors, managament and staff of Rockland Employees Federal Credit Union are very pleased to inform you of a significant premium rate reduction effective July 1, 2009!

The premium rate for credit disability coverage on loans will decrease from $3.55 per $1,000 to $2.37 per $1,000 representing a 33% reduction in premium. The new rate will apply to any NEW OR EXISTING loan that you may have with the credit union! The first billing using the new, lower premium rate will take place on the last business day of July.

At a time when it appears as almost every cost of goods or services is rising, we are very happy and excited to share this great news with you! For those members with a loan who may not currently have this valuable protection, this may be the best opportunity to have it added to an existing loan.
